Hello, Summoners!

Following an incredible Spooky Spirit Cup and waiting to see the winner of the Pigeon Classic Takeoff this Saturday, we would like to share our next Splinterlands tournament!

The tournament will be named the Power Outage Cup, held on November 20th at 2 PM EST. Hence, each contestant will only have a certain amount of power to work with when building their deck for the tournament.

For the Power Outage Cup, players will only be allowed to have 50,000 worth of card power in their deck. This format implies that the first challenge will be building your deck. The second will be fighting with it!

Contestants will play tournament matches under the Silver League Ruleset. Besides the limited resources and finite ruleset, the tournament will be similar to past ZenSports Splinterlands Tournaments.

So, details, please?

How to Qualify

As usual, Clove71 will be hosting the qualifier tournaments. These tournaments will not be power-sensitive, as limiting that would be far too tricky.

She will be hosting six qualifier events over the next two weeks, with the top five contestants qualifying for the main event. ZenSports will award two spots to members of the ZenSports Community and our sponsors!

If you have qualified, make sure to join our Discord and message @kanyeshrayz(Jacob)#1980. He will further instruct you on how to register!

Qualifier 1: Thursday, November 11th, Anytime.

Qualifier 2: Friday, November 12th, Noon EST.

Qualifier 3: Saturday, November 13th, Noon EST.

Qualifier 4: Sunday, November 14th, Noon EST.

Qualifier 5: Monday, November 15th, Noon EST.

Deck Checks

Two days before the tournament begins, players must send a video to the tournament admin of them scrolling through the deck they plan to use for the event. This deck must contain less than 50k power. Decks will be cross-checked during the tournament to ensure they have not changed.

If you are a player with more than 50,000 power, you will delegate your cards via your main account to an alt. Zensports will monitor the alt account during the tournament.

Prizes

ZenSports will send prizes to players’ ZenSports accounts in the form of USDT. See below for the complete list of awards.

Player Payouts and KYC Verification

Players who finish in the top 16 will be eligible to win USDT, distributed via the ZenSports app.

Immediately after the tournament is over, ZenSports will credit players’ ZenSports accounts with their tournament winnings, but players must complete KYC before they are allowed to withdraw.

If you want to win even more money from playing in our tournaments, make sure to check out our SPORTS Staking Rewards Program. The program rewards you for simply holding SPORTS tokens in your ZenSports account and playing games!

We understand that KYC is a hassle, but it is required. ZenSports is a money servicing business and faces many of the same regulatory hurdles as banks do!

For now, players should look to get verified using either PrimeTrust on the ZenSports app itself or through a third-party service: Yoti.

Please read the following rules and restrictions:

  • All prizes will be paid as credits to customers’ ZenSports accounts (USDT).
  • Players must submit all withdrawal requests directly within the ZenSports app, and all customers must go through KYC/AML verification and meet ZenSports’ Terms & Conditions for submitting withdrawal requests.
  • ZenSports does NOT offer third-party payment options such as PayPal, Venmo, etc.
  • Players located in the following countries are ineligible for winning prize money.
