New York Giants Preview

The Giants previously had a three-game win streak snapped with a recent loss. This was a 24-6 blowout defeat to the New Orleans Saints, in which the Giants never scored another point in the second half of action.

They are third in the NFC East, but too far away from the likes of the Dallas Cowboys and Eagles. However, a win here would be huge for their season and disrupt the playoff positioning for the Eagles.

The Giants have a hard time scoring the ball, as they rank 31st in the league and average just 13.5 points per game. Their defense also struggles to keep opponents from taking over, as they allow 24.1 points per game and rank 25th.

Tommy DeVito (8 TD, 3 INT) has a lot to show the Eagles and prove for this franchise. He currently has 1,032 yards, a pass completion rate of 64.4, and a QBR of 22.7. If he can sustain an excellent performance, they would have a lot to look forward to next season.

Philadelphia Eagles Preview

The Eagles are coming into this game with a string of disappointing losses behind them. They are currently on a three-game losing streak, with their most recent defeat being a 20-17 performance against the Seattle Seahawks.

Despite tying for first in the NFC East, the Eagles desperately need to break their losing streak and to gain any momentum to potentially take over the division. The worst case scenario is that they end up with a Wild Card spot, but they are aiming for better seeding in the playoffs and have to start with a win here.

The Eagles’ offense has been respectable for most of the season, as they have scored 25.6 points per game and rank seventh in the league. Defensively, they have faltered in allowing 24.4 points per game and rank 26th.

Jalen Hurts (19 TD, 12 INT) should be 100 percent to play this weekend as opposed to having an illness last weekend against the Seahawks. He has put together 3,335 total yards, completed 65.7 percent of his passes, and ranks 10th in the league for his QBR of 60.0.
