ZenSports and EMP Money Join Forces!
Today, ZenSports is pleased to announce our partnership with EMP Money, an innovative platform that provides users access to algocoins, which track the prices of some of the most popular cryptocurrencies, such as Ethereum.
The algocoins provide the high yield opportunities typically found only in risky assets. Unlike these traditionally risky assets, these coins also provide exposure to some of the most popular crypto tokens.
About EMP Money
EMP, the initial algocoin from the team, is pegged to the price of Ethereum at a 4000:1 ratio. To keep EMP pegged at this ratio, the team has deployed additional tokens that regulate the EMP economy and the token’s price.
ESHARE serves multiple purposes within the EMP ecosystem. At its core, the coin serves as a measure of trust in EMP’s ability to maintain a stable 4000:1 peg to Ethereum.
During the epoch expansion period, the protocol mints additional EMP tokens and distributes them proportionally to users who have staked their ESHARE tokens. Additionally, ESHARE tokens grant voting rights on proposals to improve the protocol and add additional utility to EMP holders.
EBOND tokens are also an essential part of the EMP Money ecosystem, helping community members self-regulate the price of EMP tokens. When the TWAP (Time Weighted Average Price) of EMP falls below the 4000:1 peg, EBOND tokens are issued and can be purchased with EMP at the current price.
