The most anticipated golf tournament is finally here this weekend from Augusta National Golf Club. The top names in golf will be headlining the tournament this year, including Tiger Woods, who most recently said he expects to play this weekend, along with 2020 Champion Dustin Johnson, Jordan Spieth, and Brooks Koepka.

With a wide-open field of 91 golfers, this is anyone’s game as we have seen longshots come out from nowhere to win in past years and amateurs make a name for themselves on golf’s grand stage.

With that said, here are our top 5 picks to bet to win the Masters this weekend:

Rory McIlroy +2000

It’s been 8 years since McIlroy has won a major championship – which means he is more than overdue. What’s more, the Masters happens to be the lone major missing from McIlroy’s career. He has six Top 10 finishes in the tournament, but remains in the hunt for his first Green Jacket. He has the experience to win, and with the pressure off his shoulders, this could be the year he finally succeeds.

Brooks Koepka +2000

Last year wasn’t one of his best performances for Koepka, as he failed to make the cut at the Masters. However, Koepka wasn’t playing his best golf then due to an injury, and he should rebound nicely this year. Not short of confidence, Koepka has finished runner-up in the Masters before and can win the green jacket this weekend.

Jordan Spieth +2200

Spieth came close to the Green Jacket in 2021, finishing tied for third in the tournament. He last won the Masters in 2015 and has been chasing his second win at Augusta ever since. Spieth has struggled lately, but has performed well at the Masters in his career. He has placed in the Top 3 in 5 out of his 8 appearances. He should be on the top of the leaderboard again this year.

Bryson DeChambeau +4500

DeChambeau had a poor outing in last year’s Masters after failing to make the cut. DeChambeau historically has not performed well at Augusta in his career. His best outing came back in 2016 when he finished T21. Though his record at Augusta may prove contrary, DeChambeau also has injury issues dealing with a torn labrum in his left hip and a hairline fracture in his left hand. While the odds may be stacked against him, it’s not a bad idea to take a shot at the young golfer, who will play despite his doctor’s advice to sit out. He has the motivation, which may turn into his best performance at the tournament yet.

Tiger Woods +5000

This is Tiger Woods. There’s not much to say when determining who should always be favored to win. Though he is making his first appearance on the course since his recovery from a scary car accident, Tiger manages to defy the odds. It was only three years ago that he won the green jacket in 2019 – who’s to bet against him that he cannot pull out the feat once again.
