Seattle Seahawks Preview
The Seahawks are currently on a two-game skid and have gone 2-3 over their previous five matchups. Their most recent defeat was a 31-13 performance on Thanksgiving Day against the San Francisco 49ers, where the 49ers were up 24-3 at halftime and never looked back.
Despite their record nearing .500, they are second in the NFC West. However, another loss here will likely put them in third, as the Los Angeles Rams are right behind them with a similar record.
They are slightly below average when it comes to their offense, ranking 18th in the league for their production of 20.8 points per game. On defense, they are slightly worse than their offensive rank, as they give up 22.6 points a game and rank 22nd.
The Seahawks will lean on quarterback Geno Smith (12 TD, 8 INT) once again in a tough matchup. He has accumulated 2,584 yards this season and ranks 20th for his QBR of 50.1.
Dallas Cowboys Preview
The Cowboys have won their last three games in commanding fashion, with their most recent one also being on Thanksgiving Day. This was a 45-10 rout over the Washington Commanders, with the Cowboys scoring 25 unanswered points in the fourth quarter.
They are still hovering in the second place spot in the NFC East, which the Philadelphia Eagles have a strong hold over at a current 10-1 record. The good news is that the rest of the division is looking like the Commanders’ current record, so no threat is imminent. However, they still need to take care of business at home and defeat a divisional foe.
The Cowboys are first in the league with 31.5 points per game. In addition, they rank fourth for their defense at allowing 16.8 points per game. This should set them up for success against any team they face.
QB Dak Prescott (23 TD, 6 INT) continues to have a great year and is one of the most efficient QB’s to have the ball in his hands. He currently ranks second in the league with his QBR of 75.3. Over his last two games, he has thrown six touchdowns without an interception and is averaging a 67.3 completion rate during that span.
