The 49ers have gone 2-3 over their previous five games, but appear to be on the right track with a current two-game win streak. Their most recent success was a 27-14 performance over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, with Brock Purdy throwing three touchdowns.

They are currently on top of the NFC West, but it is a slim margin over the Seahawks. Finding success early in this matchup will be key, especially since both teams are competitively positioned to win.

The 49ers are one of the best teams in the league for a few reasons. They average 27.9 points per game, which is the best in the league. On top of that, they are holding teams to just 15.7 points each game, ranking third in the league.

Purdy (18 TD, 5 INT) has acquired 2,662 yards and is having a remarkable season. He has a QBR of 77.0, putting him on top of the list compared to all other quarterbacks in the league, and completes 70.2 percent of his passes.

Seattle Seahawks Preview

The Seahawks have gone 3-2 in their previous five games, but are 1-2 so far in the month of November. Their most recent game was a 17-16 defeat to the Los Angeles Chargers, where the Seahawks blew a 13-0 start to the game and gave up 10 unanswered points in the fourth quarter.

They are currently trailing the 49ers in the division, but a win here would allow them to swap places. However, it is going to take a little magic to make that happen, as the Seahawks have not been the most consistent team in the league.

The Seahawks are putting up 21.6 points per game, ranking 16th-best in the league. They are allowing teams to hand them 21.8 points each matchup, which ranks 19th. At this rate, they are not getting anywhere offensively to help win games.

Geno Smith (12 TD, 7 INT) will need to have the best game of his life to help power the Seahawks, but he is questionable for his appearance in this game. He has earned 2,404 yards, has completed 65.3 percent of his passes this year, and has a QBR of 54.5 (17th).
