Philadelphia Eagles Preview

The Eagles have a three-game win streak under their belt coming into this one. Their most recent victory was a 28-23 performance against the Dallas Cowboys where Jalen Hurts threw two touchdowns and had 207 yards.

Over their recent three wins, they have scored on average 32.3 points a game and have allowed 23.6. Their success has allowed them to stay on top of the NFC East, but this will be a good test to see if they are a step ahead of another potential Super Bowl matchup with the Chiefs.

They average 28.0 points per game, which ranks third in the league. Their defense allows 21.7 points a game, ranking 17th in the league. This is not much of a gap, but they are at least consistent in winning their close games.

Hurts (15 TD, 8 INT) looked questionable after getting hit in the knee with a helmet against the Cowboys, but was able to shake it off and finish the game strong. So far, he has 2,347 yards and ranks sixth in the league for his QBR at 66.7.

Kansas City Chiefs Preview

The Chiefs were able to get back on the winning side in their most recent performance, which was a 21-14 win over the Miami Dolphins at the NFL Frankfurt Games in Germany. Surprisingly, the Chiefs were able to hold on after giving up 14 points in the third quarter and they did not score a single point in the second half after going up 21-0 at the half.

They are on top of the AFC West division and have another good opportunity to win it again this year based on their recent performances. If they can secure a win on the season against the Eagles now, this would definitely make them favorites to win the Super Bowl.

They are averaging 23.1 points per game (11th) and giving up just 15.9 points (second). This ratio is good, but their defense is what stands out above the rest of their stats.

Quarterback Patrick Mahomes (17 TD, 8 INT) has earned 2,442 yards. He also has a QBR of 72.8, which ranks him third in the league for his performances on the field.
