Orlando Magic Preview

The Magic have lost three out of their last five games and will have a tough road test coming up soon. Their most recent performance was a 126-99 blowout defeat against the Cleveland Cavaliers, with Paolo Banchero adding 18 points and only one of four players above 10 points for the Magic.

Banchero is the face of their offense and leads them in several categories, showing he has the biggest burden to perform each night for them. He currently averages 22.5 points, grabs 7.0 rebounds, and has 4.8 assists per game.

The Magic are averaging 111.4 points per game and rank 25th in the league. They show little efficiency with their possessions at 24th in the league, with an offensive rating of 112.5. They also rank 19th in the league with a pace rating of 98.3.

Their defense ranks sixth in the league, as they allow 111.2 points per game from opposing teams. They show efficiency in getting stops with a defensive rating of 112.2 and rank fourth for their efforts.

Memphis Grizzlies Preview

The Grizzlies have gone 3-2 in their last five games and have played their last four straight on the road, but have successfully won their last two. Their previous success was a 105-96 outing over the Miami Heat, where Vince Williams Jr. put up 25 points and the team as a whole shot 47.2 percent from beyond the arc.

Jaren Jackson Jr. is their third best scorer (21.6 PPG), but has to be the main focus as Morant and Bane are unavailable. This also leaves the door open for other role players, such as Williams Jr., to have big games and to fill the gaps offensively.

The Grizzlies have slid back to the last spot in the rankings (30th) for points scored a game, which is 107.8. This also means their efficiency has dropped to last as well, with their rating coming in at 108.1. Their pace of play ranks 12th in the league, with a rating of 99.3.

Defensively, they are holding teams to 112.9 points each game and rank 13th in the league. As for their ability to get stops, they rank eighth with a defensive rating of 113.2.
