New York Jets Preview

The Jets have gone 2-3 in their last five games, but have some positive momentum heading into this matchup. They recently defeated the Washington Capitals 30-28, where they had a large lead but sealed the game with a field goal with five seconds remaining.

They are third in the AFC East and three games behind the Buffalo Bills. They are out of playoff contention since they are too many games behind the Bills, but can still have a quality matchup and look forward to next year.

The Jets are near the bottom of the league in terms of scoring the football, as they rank 30th for averaging 15.4 points per game. Their defense is somewhat respectable in allowing 21.0 points per game and ranking 14th.

Trevor Siemian (1 TD, 3 INT) will be starting at quarterback since Zach Wilson suffered a concussion in the Miami Dolphins matchup two games back and has not cleared protocol. So far, he has 393 total yards, a pass completion rate of 53.8, and a QBR of 10.4.

Cleveland Browns Preview

The Browns have gone 3-2 over their last five matchups, but have won their last three games. Their most recent victory was a 36-22 performance over the Houston Texans, with a 22-7 lead at the half to give them a good start for victory.

They are currently second in the AFC North behind the Baltimore Ravens. They will make the playoffs this year, but have a slim chance at taking over the division since the Ravens would have to lose the rest of the games and the Browns would need to win theirs.

They are 10th in the league when it comes to scoring, with 23.0 points per game. As for defense, they are allowing teams to score 20.7 points per game and rank 12th. This is solid, but not a lot of breathing room against most good defensive opponents.

Joe Flacco (10 TD, 7 INT) will be taking on his former team and attempt to look good. He has earned 1,307 total yards this year, along with a pass completion rate of 59.4, and has a QBR of 45.9.
