Memphis Grizzlies Preview

The Grizzlies snapped a three-game losing skid when they defeated the Detroit Pistons 110-108. They are now 2-3 over their last five games and have an opportunity to win big on the road. Jaren Jackson Jr. led the Grizzlies with 40 points and he scored 27 of those in the second half of action to push them over the top.

Jackson Jr. (22.3 PPG) and the Grizzlies will be without Desmond Bane (23.7 PPG) again, as he will miss this game to a back issue. After dropping 40 points, Jackson Jr. will need to be ready to do so again.

The Grizzlies continue to hover near 105.9 points per game and have an offensive efficiency rating of 107.2. Both of those stats rank last in the league, which shows they are the worst at taking care of the basketball each offensive possession and fail to put up a lot of points.

Their defense keeps things interesting as they allow their opponents to average 113.1 points (13th) and have an efficient defense with a rating of 114.5 (11th) each game. They also have a solid pace of play with a rating of 98.3 (16th), but must not allow the game to get out of hand for the Bucks’ offense.

Milwaukee Bucks Preview

The Bucks are 2-3 in their last five matchups, with a recent 117-113 defeat to the Washington Wizards. Giannis Antetokounmpo was a major factor in the Bucks chances at winning and kept them close throughout, as he led with 35 points, 15 rebounds, and 10 assists.

Antetokounmpo (30.8 PPG, 11.6 REB) leads them in scoring and rebounds each game. However, Damian Lillard (24.4 PPG, 7.1 AST) is a game time decision due to a groin strain and his absence will hurt them if he is unable to compete.

The Bucks are the third best team in the league for points scored each game at 120.3. They are the fifth best when it comes to their offensive efficiency with a rating of 119.4. Not only do they score a lot of points but they create many opportunities each possession.

Their defense allows 116.8 points a game and ranks 21st. Their efficiency in this end ranks 16th with a rating of 116.1 and they rank fifth in the league with a pace of play at 100.0.
