After losing three straight games and coming off one of the worst performances in NFL history (3-0 loss to the Minnesota Vikings), the Raiders had their best performance of the season to set a franchise scoring record with just a four-day turnaround time. This was a 63-21 thrashing over the Los Angeles Chargers, where they were up 42-0 at halftime.

Their recent success put them back into playoff discussion. They are currently third in the AFC West and trail the Denver Broncos by roughly a game.

The Raiders rank 24th in the league for 18.9 points scored each game. Their defense comes in at ninth, with 20.0 points per game allowed. This slight negative difference between the two averages might be difficult to overcome against the Chiefs.

Aidan O’Connell (8 TD, 7 INT) was able to stuff his stats a bit when he threw four touchdowns without an interception in their recent win. He currently has 1,613 total yards, a pass completion rate of 63.1, and has a QBR of 35.4.

Kansas City Chiefs Preview

The Chiefs have gone 2-3 in their last five matchups and need to stay on top of the division with more wins. Their recent performance was a 27-17 win over the New England Patriots, which helped end their two-game losing streak.

They are a couple of games on top of the division ahead of the Broncos and Raiders. They cannot afford any slip ups and allow either one to gain momentum as the regular season is coming to a close soon.

The Chiefs rank 10th in the league for points scored each game at 22.8. Their defense is even better at third, as they allow just 17.5 points from opponents. If they can find ways to be more efficient with their offense, they will have a good opportunity to win this game.

Patrick Mahomes (25 TD, 13 INT) has earned 3,703 total yards this season, along with a pass completion rate at 67.4. He also has a QBR of 66.2, which ranks fourth among other starting quarterbacks.
