Kansas City Chiefs Preview

The Chiefs have won their last three games and earned their position in the playoffs with their most recent victory. This was a 26-7 outing over the Miami Dolphins in the AFC Wild Card game, where the Chiefs dominated in every aspect.

They have experienced a handful of ups and downs this year, but appear to be on the right track at the right time. This will be the second meeting with the Bills this season, where they lost 20-17 back in early December.

The Chiefs are getting 21.8 points per game, ranking 15th in the league. Their defense has shined in a lot of games, as they are allowing their opponents to average 17.3 and rank second in the NFL. This Martin of victory needs to get better if they want a shot at winning.

Patrick Mahomes (27 TD, 14 INT) is familiar in this territory and has plenty of experience to prevail. He has earned 4,183 total yards, a pass completion rate of 67.2, and has a QBR of 63.0 that ranks eighth in the league.

Buffalo Bills Preview

The Bills have won their last six games and arguably have the best momentum out of any team entering their next game. Their previous success was a 31-17 performance over the Pittsburgh Steelers in the other AFC Wild Card game, with the Bills jumping out to a 21-7 lead heading into the half.

They are in a familiar situation against their rivals, as the Chiefs have knocked out the Bills in both 2021 and 2022. Can the Bills finally find a way to end their losing streak in the playoffs?

The Bills are averaging 26.5 points per game and rank sixth in the league. Their defense allows 18.3 points per game and ranks fourth. This shows a solid margin of victory, but will likely need to be more in order to safely stay ahead of Mahomes and company.

Josh Allen (29 TD, 18 INT) has another opportunity to extend the Bills season against the Chiefs. He has put up another great season, with 4,306 total yards, a 66.5 pass completion rate, and a QBR of 69.4 ranking third in the league.
