Jacksonville Jaguars Preview

The Jaguars have finally snapped their four-game losing streak with a recent win and some positive momentum heading into the finale of their regular season. This was a 26-0 shutout over the Carolina Panthers, without their starting quarterback Trevor Lawrence.

The playoff picture for the Jaguars is somewhat complicated, but the easiest part of the equation is that they have to win. They are currently in a three-way tie in the AFC South with the Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts, who both are facing each other this Sunday.

The Jaguars are averaging 22.3 points per game and rank 13th in the league for their effort. Defensively, they are allowing 21.4 points each game and rank 15th in the league. This is not a ton of breathing room and it could make this game interesting down the stretch.

Lawrence (19 TD, 12 INT) is back after missing his first ever career game but is still considered “questionable”. So far he has accumulated 3,736 total yards, completed 65.5 percent of his passes, and has a QBR of 58.2 that ranks 14th in the league.

Tennessee Titans Preview

The Titans have lost their last three games and are 1-4 over their last five. Surprisingly in this stretch, they had four consecutive games that were decided by three points or less. Their most recent matchup, however, ended 26-3 against the Houston Texans.

While the Titans are out of playoff contention, they can still cause problems for the Jaguars. This is the perfect opportunity to close out the season strong and to look forward to next year, where the Titans could have a much stronger team.

The Titans are averaging 17.3 points a game and rank 28th overall offensively. Their defense has allowed 21.7 points each game, ranking them 16th in the league. If they can produce enough points offensively, they might have a chance to keep this game close.

Will Levis (8 TD, 4 INT) had limited practice due to his left foot. He is considered questionable for this matchup. So far this season, he has obtained 1,808 total yards, completed 58.4 percent of his passes, and has a QBR of 34.1.
