Green Bay Packers Preview

The Packers had a disappointing 34-20 loss to the Detroit Lions recently, which put the Lions in first in the NFC North. The Packers were down 27-3 at the half, but eventually made it respectable.

Their offense and defense have been having issues lately. They average 299.8 total yards and have 225.3 coming from passing yards. They are allowing 372.0 and give up 216.8 of those to passing from other teams.

Quarterback Jordan Love will need to do a better job if they want to win. He has 901 yards, eight touchdowns, and three costly interceptions. His QBR is currently at 51.9, which is 17th best in the league.

The Packers will need any advantage they can get, whether it is from their offense or any opportunity to slow down the Raiders. They currently average 25.0 points per game and give up 24.0, making this margin razor-thin.

Las Vegas Raiders Preview

The Raiders have lost three-straight games, with their most recent defeat being a 24-17 showing against the Los Angeles Chargers. The Chargers never scored again after the first half, which is all they needed to stop the Raiders from winning.

While they are not appealing on both sides of the ball, their yardage stats are still better than the Packers. They put up 302.0 total yards each game and power through with 236.8 yards coming from passing plays. They allow their opponents to average 347.5 total yards, with 213.3 of that stemming from pass yards.

Jimmy Garaoppolo (QB) has not been at his best to start the year off. So far, he has accumulated 709 yards and five touchdowns, but has thrown the ball away with six interceptions. His QBR is at 49.1, which ranks 18th in the league and needs to improve for their chances at success.

The Raiders have struggled to score the ball, as they average 15.5 points a game. On top of that, they also have issues with defending and give up 25.3. They need help badly on both sides of the ball, otherwise this game could be out of reach quickly.
