Georgia Bulldogs Preview

The Bulldogs are seeking their 26th-straight win dating back to last season. Their most recent success was a 52-17 blowout over the Ole Miss Rebels. Surprisingly, the Bulldogs only had possession of the football roughly a minute more in the entirety of the game compared to the Rebels.

They are no doubt the team to beat this season, as they are on top of both the SEC East and the in nation. In their last five games, they have averaged 42.6 points a game and allowed just 18.2.

Their offense overall has shined, as they average 40.6 points per game and rank sixth in the nation. On top of that, their defense has excelled and stopped teams to just 15.6 points per game, which ranks sixth.

Quarterback Carson Beck (18 TD, 5 INT) has been outstanding with 3,022 yards. His performances on the field have reflected what they do as a whole, which is why they need another great game from him with his 72.2 percent completion rate. At present, his QBR is at 84.4 and ranks seventh.

Tennessee Volunteers Preview

The Volunteers have gone 2-3 in their last five games and they just recently ended their two-game winning streak. This was a 36-7 defeat to the Missouri Tigers, where the Vols went scoreless in the second half and turned the ball over three times to have possession of the ball for about 20 minutes.

They are currently third in the SEC East and have a long way to go to catch the Bulldogs. Over the last five games, they have averaged 27.8 and allowed 22.6 points each game, showing not a lot of room for error.

Their offense overall has been solid, as they are averaging 32.0 points per game (37th) and are giving up 20.2 in the process (30th). This gap will need to widen for their chances at success against the better teams in the country.

QB Joe Milton III (16 TD, 5 INT) has put up 2,283 yards and must have a perfect game here. He had not thrown an interception his last three games prior to the Tigers loss and has completed 65.3 percent of his passes this year. His QBR stands at 69.2, ranking him 34th nationally.
