Dallas Cowboys Preview

The Cowboys have been successful in their last two games. Their previous win was a 43-20 dominance over the Los Angeles Rams. Dak Prescott came alive and threw four touchdowns and sprinkled enough offense to get the win.

Their recent success has earned them the second spot in the NFC East. Now, they must face one of the best teams in the league and rise up to the challenge. Can their defense withstand a strong Eagles team?

On offense they do a good job at averaging 28.1 points per game and that should keep them in contention with the Eagles. In addition, they continue to showcase 355.4 total yards to keep opponents on their toes. On defense, they hold teams to 17.1 points a game 303.1 total yards.

Prescott (10 TD, 5 INT) has improved in his last few games and seems comfortable with where they are at. However, he cannot become too relaxed as they need this win. He has 1,637 yards and ranks seventh in the league with a QBR of 65.2.

Philadelphia Eagles Preview

The Eagles have been victorious in their last two appearances, with a recent 38-31 outing over the Washington Commanders. The Eagles were nearly matched in points each quarter, but the difference was a 7-0 finish in the third quarter.

They continue to hold down the top spot in the NFC East, which has been for most of the season. What is scary is that they appear to improve in some area on offense each game, whether it is their running game or Jalen Hurts having a great completion rate.

They currently average 28.0 points per game, which will test the Cowboys’ defense. They also average 399.8 total yards, making them stout on the field. Their defense, however, gives up 21.5 points per game and allows 332.5 which could leave the door open long enough for the Cowboys to hang around.

Quarterback Jalen Hurts (13 TD, 8 INT) has been excellent in their matchups this season, but needs to slow down the number of interceptions. His QBR of 65.4 ranks him sixth in the league. If he can get going early, they should have an excellent opportunity to find success.
