Dallas Cowboys Preview
The Cowboys just had their five-game win streak snapped by the Buffalo Bills. This was a 31-10 blowout, in which the Bills were up 21-3 at the half and had a tremendous running game to push them to victory.
The NFC East continues to shape up to be a dramatic finish, as both the Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles remain tied at first with recent losses. Can the Cowboys recover and win a tough matchup on the road?
The Cowboys still have some of the best offense and defense in the league for another week in a row. They are averaging 30.8 points per game and rank second overall in the league. For defense, they are allowing opposing teams to score 18.9 points a game and rank fifth for their efforts.
Dak Prescott (28 TD, 7 INT) is still playing in a dominant fashion despite a bad game recently. He has accumulated 3,639 total yards (5th in league), ranks second in total touchdowns, completes 68.8 percent of his passes, and ranks second in the league for his QBR at 72.7.
Miami Dolphins Preview
After suffering a tough defeat to the Tennessee Titans two weeks back, the Dolphins were able to quickly regroup and get back on track. This was a 30-0 rout over the New York Jets. The Dolphins cruised into halftime with a 24-0 lead.
They are currently on top of the AFC East and have a solid amount of space from the second place Bills. However, they cannot afford to slip up now and potentially lose their top spot heading into the playoffs.
They have the best offense in the league at 31.5 points per game. This should be an appealing showdown since the top offensive teams are competing. Their defense is a bit lacking in comparison to their offense, as they allow 21.0 points a game and rank 14th.
Tua Tagovailoa (25 TD, 10 INT) leads the league in yards at 3,921. His performance against Prescott should be appealing to see which quarterback can win this offensive showdown. He also has a 71.0 percent pass completion rate and has a QBR at 58.9, ranking him 11th in the league.
