Chicago Bears Preview

The Bears have won their last two consecutive games and are 3-2 over their last five overall. Their previous success was a 28-13 performance over the Detroit Lions, where they landed 18 unanswered points in the second half to cruise to victory.

The Bears are last in the NFC North but that could change quickly with positive momentum on their side. A lot of things need to happen in order for them to make the playoffs this year. However, winning is the most important step to take.

The offense from the Bears is solid at 20.8 points per game and ranking 20th in the league. Their defense is another story, as they rank 22nd overall in allowing 23.8 points per game. They must get their defense under control for better chances at success.

Justin Fields (13 TD, 6 INT) has had a solid season with 1,810 yards and a pass completion rate of 63.5. He also ranks 21st in the league with a QBR of 48.0. His performance here will greatly determine their future this season.

Cleveland Browns Preview

The Browns just recently ended their two-game losing streak with a recent win. They were able to defeat the Jacksonville Jaguars 31-27, where consistent scoring each quarter led them to a tight race to the finish.

They are currently second in the AFC North, but have a slim margin over other contenders such as the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals. A loss here would definitely disrupt their momentum and chances of making the playoffs.

The Browns are in the middle of the road when it comes to their performances on both sides of the ball. They rank 12th in the league for 22.2 points per game and 14th overall for allowing 20.9 from opposing teams. This margin is thin, but they have been consistent with it all season.

Joe Flacco (5 TD, 2 INT) has done a solid job at taking over for Deshaun Watson while he has been out. Flacco currently has 565 yards, a pass completion of 55.1, and a QBR of 41.5. His veteran experience should help them in pivotal situations down the stretch.
