Carolina Panthers Preview

The Panthers are coming off of a 33-10 blowout loss against the Dallas Cowboys. They were able to get it to 17-10 heading into the fourth quarter, but an interception led to a touchdown that quickly faded any momentum for the Panthers.

While they are fourth in the NFC South, they are also the worst team in the league as far records go. In fact, they are currently on a three-game losing streak and have some of the worst numbers for both offense and defense in the league.

The Panthers have been averaging 16.3 points a game, ranking 29th out of 32 in the league. Defensively, they are slowing 27.5 points per game, which ranks 31st. This negative ratio is not sustainable to help win games.

Quarterback Bryce Young (9 TD, 8 INT) continues to push along and attempt to create some offensive value to the team. He currently has 1,683 yards and a QBR of 29.9, ranking him 31st in the league. At this rate, he is flirting with stats that would make him the worst quarterback in the league.

Tennessee Titans Preview

The Titans are returning home after a 34-14 rout against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Titans did not put points on the board until the third quarter, which they were already down 27-7 by then.

They are currently fourth in the AFC South. While they have sprinkled some wins this year, they are currently on a three-game losing skid as well.

They put up 16.8 points per game, which comes in at 27th-best in the league. On defense, they do a slightly better job at limiting points in comparison to the Panthers at 21.4 a game, ranking 17th. This ratio, while still negative, is more appealing than what the Panthers offer.

The Titans still move forward with QB Will Levis (6 TD, 2 INT), who continues to start over Ryan Tannehill. So far, he has accumulated 857 yards and has a QBR of 34.4.

In his recent game against the Jaguars, he stumbled early but looked much better in the second half. If the Titans can make sure to put Levis in a position to flourish offensively, they have a great opportunity to win.
