Baltimore Ravens Preview

The Ravens had a 10-3 lead going into the half against the Pittsburgh Steelers, but eventually lost 17-10. They allowed the Steelers to put up 14 points in the fourth quarter to come back and win, as too many mistakes were on the table.

They have done a good job on both sides of the ball, but have had issues closing out games. They average 352.0 total yards and have 206.0 come from passing plays. Their defense is solid since they allow 298.6 and have 207.2 stem from passing. Their defense is what has kept them in games so far.

Quarterback Lamar Jackson has been appealing, but they will need more production out of him to win games. He currently has a QBR of 53.6, which ranks 13th in the league. He has put up 1,030 yards, four touchdowns, and two interceptions.

The Ravens have done a good job at scoring 21.8 points per game and limiting opponents to just 15.0. As long as they show up on defense, and mitigate their mistakes, their offense should come along.

Tennessee Titans Preview

The Titans recently lost on the road against the Indianapolis Colts, ending 23-16. They were unable to produce any points in the fourth quarter, which makes it hard to win games without any offense.

They have struggled to accumulate offense and stop teams on defense. They average 317.4 total yards, with 210.8 from passes. They allow 358.0 total yards from their opponents, as their foes attack with 263.4 yards from passing.

Veteran QB Ryan Tannehill is having a tough season to say the least, as turnovers have plagued his performances. He has a QBR of 37.1, which ranks him near the bottom of the league at 30th. So far, he has 1,052 yards, two touchdowns, and five costly interceptions.

The Titans have been all over the place on offense and defense, as they average 17.6 points per game and give up 18.6. If Tannehill can be more accurate without throwing the ball away, the Titans can make some progress. They need to find a way to be more consistent on both sides to remain competitive on the field.
