Making his inaugural start this season, Bryce Elder offers an intriguing prospect. Looking at last season’s stats, he put up a 3.81 ERA and a 1.28 WHIP. If he can sustain numbers similar to this, the Braves have a good shot.

Marcell Ozuna looked great in their last performance against the Rangers with a homer early. He currently leads the roster with nine home runs, a total of 27 RBIs, and a .338 batting average. His presence alone will help give them a great opportunity to succeed.

The Braves post a batting average of .283, which shows they have a good rhythm at the plate. They get on base with a percentage at .353 and carry a strong slugging percentage at .475.

They allow opposing teams to average .244 at the plate, which is solid if their offense stays strong. Their team ERA comes in at 4.30, but starter pitching could help keep this lower.
