That’s why we’re excited to announce today that we’ve taken the next step in the evolution of the peer-to-peer sports betting experience by allowing ZenSports customers to do In-Game betting.

This means you can bet in real-time on your favorite team, player, sport, or league while that actual sporting event is happening. No more having to wait for the next game to start or only being able to bet in advance of a game. Now you can enjoy the action of sports betting in real-time while you’re watching a game with your buddies, or anonymously with others across the world.

Here’s how it works:

1. When creating a bet, ZenSports now allows you to select a particular game to bet on for up to 5 hours after the game has already started. So if a game has already started and you want to bet on it during the game, you’ll now see it as available for selecting when creating a bet.

2. From there, choose the team(s), player(s), and bet type as you normally would.

3. Lastly, choose when you want the bet to expire, which allows you to control how long you want your In-Game bet to be available to Takers to accept. You can choose to have the bet expire at a specific time of your choosing, such as at 5:36pm. You can also choose to have the bet expire in X number of days, hours, minutes, or seconds from when the bet was created.

This opens up a world of possibilities for Prop bets and other creative bets. For example, if you want to bet that the next play in a football game is going to be a pass, and the teams are coming out of a 30 second timeout, you could create that bet with a 30 second expiration on it, which guarantees that it will be gone before the play happens, but is available to anyone before that that wants to accept it.

Or suppose your least favorite basketball player gets a technical foul in the first quarter of a game, and you want to bet that he’ll get ejected sometime in the next hour. Just create that bet with a 1 hour expiration, and boom! You’ve got yourself an awesome Prop bet.

Because peer-to-peer betting lends itself perfectly to Prop and In-Game betting, the possibilities are endless for the types of bets that you can come up with. And with In-Game betting, you no longer have to be bored to tears with a game that is a blowout by halftime. Just create some fun Prop bets during the game, and watch an otherwise boring game with a foregone conclusion turn into one that has some real drama and excitement to it.
