This Saturday, the UFC Apex Center in Las Vegas will host the next UFC Fight Night featuring a middleweight bout of #8 Uriah Hall vs. #11 Sean Strickland.

Both fighters will enter the Octagon riding four-fight winning streaks, though it is the lower-ranked Strickland who oddsmakers have dubbed the favorite at -215.

At age 36, Uriah “Primetime” Hall has not lost a fight since July 7, 2018, where he was knocked out in the second round by Paulo Costa at UFC 226. Since then, three out of his four wins have come via knockout. However, his last bout against Chris Weidman lasted only 17 seconds as Weidman suffered a devastating broken leg injury.

On the other side, Sean “Tarzan” Strickland has yet to be defeated since moving back into the middleweight division. He last won via unanimous decision against Krzysztof Jotko on May 1, 2021, and, before that match, defeated Brendan Allen via TKO in the second round.

Prediction: Strickland’s three career professional losses all have come in the welterweight division. In the middleweight division, he is a perfect 18-0. Since his return from a motorcycle accident in December 2018, Strickland has seemed to find his stride, whereas Hall has been notoriously inconsistent his entire career, never winning more than four bouts in a row. Expect the lower-ranked Strickland to continue his hot streak and defeat Hall via unanimous decision in the Octagon.
