Hello Summoners!

We are pleased to announce the next tournament in our Gold Foil Prize Series will be co-sponsored by NFT Horizon!

NFT Horizon is a platform for all things NFTs, specifically NFTs on the WAX Blockchain.

Not only is the site a hub for NFT news, but the group recently launched their own NFT collection, which can be browsed on AtomicHub.

The team has built their story-based NFT collection around Greco-Roman mythology, so it’s only fitting that the winner of the Cerberus Cup will take home a Gold Foil Cerberus card, currently valued at more than $500!.

NFT Horizon x ZenSports – Cerberus Cup

The Cerberus Cup will take place on August 28th, at 1 PM EST.

In addition to the gold foil Cerberus card, more than $1000 in prizes will be distributed among the top 16 finishers in the event.

The tournament will be played under the Bronze League ruleset – essentially all Splinterlanders will have a chance to win!

NFT Horizon is graciously adding even more to the prize pool, and will award the top 3 finishers with cards from their NFT collection!

They will also be designing a custom, one-of-one NFT trophy to the winner, to be displayed beginning next week.

As always, there will be tons of giveaways on the stream – Splinterlands packs, cards, and certainly some additional NFTs from the NFT Horizon collection!

How to Qualify

Per usual, the one-and-only Clove71 will be hosting two qualifier events leading up to the Cerberus Cup.

These events will be held on Thursday, August 19th at 6 PM EST and Saturday, August 21st, at 1 PM EST!

The top 30 participants, based on highest finish in a single event, will qualify for the main event on August 28th.

Two members will be chosen from one of the many ZenSports Guilds! If you are interested in joining one of our guilds, join our Discord server and introduce yourself in the #guild-chat channel!

Player Payouts and KYC Verification

Players who finish in the top 16 will be eligible to win their crypto prize in their currency of choice: SPORTS, USDT, BTC, or ICX.

Immediately after the tournament is over, player’s ZenSports accounts will be credited with their tournament winnings, but players must complete KYC before they are allowed to withdraw.

If you want to win even more money from playing in our tournaments, make sure to check out our SPORTS Staking Rewards Program. The program rewards you for simply holding SPORTS tokens in your ZenSports account and playing in tournaments!

We understand that KYC is a hassle, but it is required. ZenSports is a money servicing business and faces many of the same regulatory hurdles as banks do!

For now, players should look to get verified using either PrimeTrust on the ZenSports app itself, or through a third party service: Yoti.

Please read the following rules and restrictions:

  • All prizes will be paid out as credits to customers’ ZenSports account (either in USD, Bitcoin, ICX, or SPORTS).
  • All withdrawal requests must be submitted directly within the ZenSports app and all customers must go through KYC/AML verification and meet ZenSports’ Terms & Conditions for submitting withdrawal requests.
  • ZenSports does NOT offer third party payment options such as PayPal, Venmo, etc.
  • Players located inOFAC Sanctioned countries are ineligible from winning prize money.

More News – Esports, Nevada, Xonotic!

As many of you have seen in our Discord server, we are planning to release a huge update to our esports tournament software in September.

This update will come very soon after we become the first crypto-focused sports betting operator in the state – a huge accomplishment for our team.

Once licensed, ZenSports will look to expand our esports initiatives directly into the state, so if you are interested in partnering with us on that, feel free to reach out!

As for our current esports efforts, we run Xonotic tournaments every other weekend, alternating with Splinterlands.

Xonotic is epic, and the events are lots of fun. Check out this highlight video if you are skeptical!
