NFL Fantasy Football Week 7 Waiver Wire

QBs:

  1. Jimmy Garrapolo, SF
  2. Deshaun Watson, HOU

Jimmy G is back! He put together a solid fantasy line last weekend vs the Falcons, and has three talented pass-catchers to throw to. He can be expected to put together a 225/1.5/.5 average for the rest of the season. Not bad, and could be worse.

Don’t forget about Deshaun Watson coming back after week 11 against the Texans, one of the worst defenses in the NFL. Watson could be a league winner this year.

RBs:

  1. Rams RB Situation
  2. Brian Robinson, WASH

I wanted to highlight the Rams RB situation given the publicity of Cam Aker’s lack of effort and what it means for him and his fellow running backs moving forward. Akers is done in LA. Darrel Henderson is now a RB2. Anyone else is not worth picking up. Please don’t waste your time!

Brian Robinson is a fan favorite, and might just get 15 touches per week moving forward. I’m not sure why, as Gibson is a solid runner and McKissic a solid pass-catcher. Robinson is getting the looks, and an injury to one of the other backs on the roster could boost his stock into RB2 status.

WRs

  1. Alec Pierce, IND
  2. Josh Reynolds, DET

Alex Pierce is the real deal! I told you to start him last week because of how much Matt Ryan targeted him in Week 5. This pick hit, thanks entirely to a late, game-sealing TD to close out the Jaguars. Pittman will still see the most looks per week, but Pierce is a great player and might finish 2nd in targets. If Pittman is out, Pierce enters WR2 status.

Reynolds is a solid start as long as one of the following players on the Lions is out: St.Brown, Hockenson, Swift, Chark. In the last 3 weeks, Reynolds has posted a 19/269/1 statline. Enough said!

TE

  1. Robert Tonyan, GB
  2. Noah Fant, SEA

Tonyan posted a very solid week against the Jets, catching 10 passes for 90 yards. There are only five or so other TEs in the league who warrant that sort of volume. Pick up Tonyan and start him.

Fant is finally finding his footing in Seattle. He has posted two consecutive solid outings, and Geno has now found his premier TE. Geno looks great too, making Fant a player to watch closely in coming weeks.

D/ST

  1. Denver Broncos
  2. New York Giants

Denver is available in about 30% of ESPN leagues, while ranking 6th in defensive scoring. They have easy matchups against the Jets and Jags after week 6 as well.

The Giants have been playing amazing this year, and their defense has been a big part of that success. They play Jax, Sea, Hou in their next three games. Start 2 sit 1 – you can figure it out.
